Application options for postdocs

Researchers who have obtained their PhD-degree or are close to obtaining their PhD-degree have several options to apply for grants, that allows them to carry out research at the Science Faculty. Most research projects have to be in natural sciences including food, life and health sciences, except for Marie S. Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship projects that are allowed to be in any research area.

All applications require a supervisor and a budget accepted by the department head where the supervisor works. Therefore,  please contact possible supervisors at SCIENCE, discuss the specific application possibilities and your research project ideas. Furthermore, you may ask them to put you in contact with their so-called "projektøkonomer" for making and administratively process budgets.

The application options have been divided into two groups. The first group contains options where postdocs can apply for grants that lead to their own employment at the Science Faculty. The second group contains options where supervisors officially can apply for grants that lead to the employment of postdocs. Postdocs are allowed to write these applications with/for supervisors.
