Katherine Richardson from Center for Macroecology, Evolution and Climate is among the 15 scientists and experts to draft the UN Global Sustainable Development Report, appointed by Ban Ki-moon.
We are very proud to announce that Professor Katherine Richardson from CMEC, and Leader of Sustainability Science Center, is among the group of scientists and experts to draft the UN Global Sustainable Development Report.
The next Global Sustainable Development Report will be published in 2019. It will be the first of a quadrennial series to inform the high-level global reviews of the 2030 Agenda at the United Nations.
"The Report is a key component of the mechanism to follow up and review progress on the recently agreed 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDGs. It aims to strengthen the science-policy interface and provide a strong evidence-based instrument to support policymakers in promoting poverty eradication and sustainable development".
