The Young Investigator Coaching (YIC) programme can help you take your research and career forward. In confidential coaching sessions you will receive honest and constructive feedback from business managers and fellow researchers on a case of your choice

Why participate in Young Investigator Coaching at SCIENCE

Would you like to work with industry, but are not sure on how and where to start? Would you like to get feedback from industry coaches and fellow researchers on a case challenge, on how to build professional relations or your next career move? In addition, do you think getting to know your strengths and weaknesses through coaching would be beneficial? If you can answer some or all of these questions with a YES, consider applying for SCIENCE Young Investigator (YIC) Programme. The team for fall 2019 is already chosen, but we will most likely recruit again in Spring 2020.

Dates and coaches in YIC 2019

The YIC programme consist of five sessions. In 2019, the five sessions will take place as follows:

  • 5 September, 13 - 15
  • 12 September, 12.30 - 14.30
  • 2 October, 8.30 -14
  • 8 November, 8.30 - 13
  • 12 December, 9 – 13.30
Experienced managers from the industry take part in the network as coaches. In 2019 the coaches are:

Peter Horn Møller, CEO and Founder of Marigold Innovation 

Anne and Peter’s way of coaching complement each other and they make a great coaching team. Peter has been part of the coaching programme from the very beginning in 2012, while Anne joined the programme in 2018. Erik Bisgaard Madsen, Vice dean at SCIENCE, is sponsor for the initiative.
